2015 marked my first year as a full time wedding photographer in London and my goodness it’s been full and scary and wonderful! I’ve been lucky enough to travel to France and Italy to work on some beautiful destination weddings and I’ve also had some really gorgeous London pub dos by contrast. I’ve also been a part of Snap Photography Festival where I met some people who not only inspired me but have become great friends. I’ve second shot for some awesome photographers too and had a few shoot for me in return. It’s been a huge learning curve and my confidence in my work is ever increasing with experience.
One thing that has really stood out for me this year is the kindness and support of the couples I’ve worked with. As a wedding photographer – or as any kind of photographer – there is nothing quite like being told you are trusted to shoot exactly how you please. It shows there is faith in what you are capable of which always stands to create great work because it’s coming from a true place. So here is a little taster of the outcome of that trust and support; some photos I truly love. Thank you to my couples for having faith in me to shoot just as I please.
